Methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA) is a type of Staph infection resistant to certain antibiotics such as methicillin, oxacillin, penicillin, and amoxicillin. MRSA is a fast-growing problem in U.S. hospitals. Hospital-Acquired MRSA is fatal approximately 18% of the time. Infections contracted in U.S. hospitals are the fourth largest killer in America.
The CDC reports that 1.7 million infections annually are health care related and as a result 99,000 people will die each year.
You are two-times more likely to get an infection from the hospital than being diagnosed with COVID-19.

We trust physicians, dentists, and nurses to provide us with the highest level of care available. Medical mistakes including missed or erroneous diagnosis, infections due to poor after-surgery care, and problems with anesthesia can cause additional medical issues for you, or a loved one. Medical professionals are responsible for treating each patient with the highest level of care. When they fail, they can only be held accountable by filing a civil medical malpractice lawsuit.
